Media Software

Introduction

In 2024 we're nearing completion of a system of media playback, management & manipulation in the Linux operating system running on our laptop home computer that we use for both our entertainment and for our music production, and we hope to publish it here before year's end. This system features mppm, a script we developed that runs in the Linux command-line terminal for audio & video media playback, management & manipulation, and which relies on various utility programs we've developed, a modified version of the command-line terminal media player Mplayer, and a not-so-pretty system of media download for our non-commercial, "fair-use" applications.

We hope to demonstrate with this system an integrated approach to media software that's, as usual, coherent with our integrated approach to all of our activities and all of our life here in planet Earth. All aspects or things are integrated when all are considered as a whole, such that all aspects or things harmonize with each other, ultimately helping to advance us to our ultimate destination - our individual full potential & humanity's full potential.
